# Sign up and log in

## 1. Sign up

1. **fixfolio.ai** Access
2. **\[Sign up]** Click the button

Fixfolio **recommends use in a PC environment**and the browser is **recommended to use Chrome or Edge.**

### How to sign up <a href="#sign-up" id="sign-up"></a>

You can sign up by choosing one of two methods.

**You cannot sign up using multiple methods with one email address.**

For example,

* Email already registered with a Google account → Cannot sign up with email
* Email already registered with email sign-up → Cannot sign up with a Google account

If the email is already in use, please log in with the existing account.

#### (1) Sign up with a Google account <a href="#account_google" id="account_google"></a>

1. **\[Sign up with a Google account]** Click the button
2. Account verification for the Google account you will use completed, sign-up completed

**Google login lets you log in quickly without additional verification**. It is suitable if you are already signed in to your Google account in the browser or if you want to get started quickly without separate password management.

#### (2) Sign up with email <a href="#account_email" id="account_email"></a>

1. **\[Sign up with email]** Click the button
2. After entering your email address and password **\[Sign up]** Click the button
3. After entering the verification code (6 digits) sent to the entered email **\[Verify]** Click the button
4. After entering the name you will use in the service **\[Get started]** Click the button, sign-up completed

**If you do not receive a verification email at the entered email address, please check the following items.**

* Please check whether the email address is correct.
* Please check your spam folder.
* After resending the verification code, please check your inbox again.

## 2. Log in

Please choose the login method according to the method used when signing up.

* **Log in with Google account:** **\[Log in with Google account]** After clicking the button, verify with the Google account you signed up with, and login is complete
* **Log in with email:** **\[Log in with email]** After clicking the button, enter the email and password you signed up with, and login is complete

**If you can't log in, please check the following.**

* Check whether the login method used at sign-up (Google / email) is correct
* Check whether you logged in with a different Google account
* Check for typos in the password when logging in with email

* If you signed up with a Google account
  : Both Google login and email login are available **(However, email login is available only after setting a password, and for details, please refer to** [**\[\[Gmail account only\] Password settings page\]**](/en/setting/personal.md#gmail)**.)**
* If you signed up with email: Only email login is available (Google login not supported)

**If you have an account signed up with email or an account signed up with a Google account and then set a password for email login, you can reset it through the \[Reset Password] feature if you forget your password.** For details, please refer to [**\[Password reset page\]**](#undefined-1).

### Password reset

**If you have an account signed up with email or an account signed up with a Google account and then set a password for email login** you can reset your password and log in again.

**Even if you signed up with a Google account, if you have set a password for email login (**[**\[\[Gmail account only\] Password settings page\]**](/en/setting/personal.md#gmail) **note), you can reset it in the same way.**

1. On the login screen **\[Forgot your password?]** click
2. After entering the email address you want to find the password for **\[Receive reset email]** Click the button
3. In the password reset guide email received at the entered email address **\[Reset password]** Click the button
4. After entering the new password and confirmation of the new password **\[Change password and log in]** Click the button, password reset completed

## Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

**Q. I forgot my password.**

A. If you forget the password for an account signed up with email, you can reset it through the password reset feature. For details, [**\[Password reset page\]**](#undefined-1).

**Q. Can I reset my password even if I signed up with a Google account?**

A. If you signed up with a Google account, you can basically use Google login. Email login is also available, but only if you have separately set a password ([**\[\[Gmail account only\] Password settings page\]**](/en/setting/personal.md#gmail) note). In this case, what changes when resetting the password is **the password used for email login in Fixfolio, and the Google account password itself is not changed.**

**Q. Can I sign up with both a Google account and email at the same time?**

A. No. **You cannot sign up using multiple methods with one email address.** If you have already signed up with a Google account or email method, you cannot sign up again with a different method using the same email address

**Q. I signed up with a Google account, can I also use email login?**

A. Yes. **If you signed up with a Google account and then set a password for email login, you can use both Google login and email login**you can. For details, please refer to [**\[Password reset page\]**](#undefined-1). Accounts signed up with email do not support Google login.

**Q. I did not receive the verification email or password reset email.**

A. Please check the following.

* Check that you entered the email address correctly
* Check your spam folder or promotions folder
* Resend the verification code and check again

**Q. Can I use it on mobile too?**

A. **Fixfolio recommends use in a PC environment**and is most stable when used with the Chrome or Edge browser.
